The original corn chip – Totopos – are Mexican corn chips made from our organic corn tortillas. Our totopos are hand cut and fried in small batches, bringing you an authentic street-cuisine flavour experience. We use high quality ingredients – Himalayan pink salt and certified non-GMO rice bran oil to fry.
Unlike commercial corn chips, which are made with dried corn/maize, our corn chips are made from our fresh tortillas, which use nixtamalized maize flour. Originally developed by the Aztecs, the Nixtamal process is an ancient method that activates the maize and breaks down enzymes, making it easier for your body to digest and access the nutrients in the corn.
